I had two projects done by VanVleet Construction. The first project was some bathroom remodeling. This included repairs to the bathroom walls, plumbing work and tiling the bathroom floor. The second project involved paneling the basement stairwell and hanging a new door.

“I had sought bids from several contractors. Each of them told me what they do and how much it would cost. All of them proposed to install metal soffits on my colonial home. This would not have looked good. Van Vleet listened to what I wanted, and told me that a composite-wood product was available. He would install it for what turned out to be the same average cost as the other contractors. They also did a small roof repair job on another occasion. With the same satisfying results. We have moved out of the area. If we were still in the Twin Cities, they would be my first go-to contractor for pretty much anything.”

“First I called VanVleet’s for ice dam removal. They came over, gave me an estimate and was back within a day to do the job. They worked into the evening, in the dark, until it was done. This
was important because I had water leaking inside a wall. Then I had him blow insulation into my attic. For the estimate he got up into the attic. Although there was very little space in my roof. Chris discovered that the previously installed insulation wasn’t installed correctly. Some ductwork exposed and areas had little insulation.”

We noticed our ceiling leaking in our kitchen and called VanVleet Construction. We needed to have ice dams removed from our roof. They came out promptly. They were very professional in their work, and did an excellent job. They charged a reasonable fee as well. We also hired them to insulate our attic to prevent ice dams.
